Thomas J. Daniel and Margaret (Peggy) F. Daniel

Tom and his wife, Peggy, recently relocated to Charleston, South Carolina, from Fayetteville, North Carolina, to be closer to six of their eight grandchildren. In North Carolina they owned and operated a real estate school for 15 years as well as having practiced real estate and owned and operated real estate companies in North Carolina since 1990.  Tom and Peggy currently own and operate Tom Daniel Seminars, providing real estate education throughout North and South Carolina.  They bring not only experience in real estate education but also practical real estate experience into the classroom.

Tom, a Certified Public Accountant since 1971, has served as President of the Fayetteville Association of Realtors^®, Vice President of the North Carolina Association of Realtors^® (NCAR), Treasurer and Board member of the NC Real Estate Educators Foundation (NCREEF), Treasurer and Board member of the NC Real Estate Educators Association (NCREEA), member of the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA), member of the National Association of Realtors^® (NAR) Risk Management Committee, and was the 2003 Chairman of the NCAR Risk Management Advisory Committee. Tom was honored as the 1997 Women’s Council of Realtors^® Member of the Year, The 1999 NC Real Estate Educator of the Year, 2005 National Seller Representative Instructor of the Year, and received the NCAR Regional Service Award for 1996. He currently serves the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors^® (CTAR)   as a member of the Education Committee and Public Relations Committee.

Peggy, a former real estate paralegal, has served as President, Vice President of Education, Vice President of Membership, Board member, and member of numerous committees of the Fayetteville Association of Realtors^®, and has taught the Code of Ethics for the Fayetteville Association for a number of years. She served as President of the Fayetteville Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors^® (WCR) and as Treasurer and Secretary of the North Carolina WCR Chapter. She has also served as Chairman and member of the NCAR Forms Committee, member of the NCAR/NC Bar Association Joint Forms Committee, member of the NCAR Professional Standards Committee, member of the NCAR Risk Management Committee, member of the NCAR Board of Directors and is a member of REEA. Peggy received the NCAR Regional Service Award for 2000. She currently serves the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors^® (CTAR)   as a member of the Orientation Committee.

Tom and Peggy were inducted into the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC) Hall of Fame in 2004 to honor their excellence in teaching.
